ABOUT ME... in brief

I'm Kim, Kim Kemp, shaken, and rather stirred... 

Ah, passion...

My absolute passion is communication generally, and language particularly. In fact, it’s an occupational hazard... If the truth be told, I would rather delete a message than send one with a typo — and don't even get me started on 'Bingo' language where numbers are used for words... eg CUL8R... yeah you work that one out.

I say that a lazy use of language is the downfall of civilization!

Anything that needs to be recorded in writing for time immemorial is well within my skillset — barring taking minutes of a meeting — we all have limits.

I have interviewed some of industry's captains across a smorgasbord of industries and continents, recounting their input in an assortment of respected publications, both local and international.

I write speeches, compile feature articles on just about any subject, create persuasive marketing material, social media posts and scripts, advertising copy or tongue-in-cheek social media blogs — if that’s your thing — and have been known to put a not too shabby PowerPoint presentation together, as I’m also a creative, but that’s another story…

I adapt the writing style to suit the tone, as I read people rather well. But a good brief also helps.

So, when it comes to writing, I am your man (erm, woman, person, being).

Oh, and on a good day I can compile a killer grocery list...

Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all content development services provided by Wordsmith2go (“we”, “us”, “our”) to any client (“you”, “your”). By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms in full.

1. Scope of Services

1.1 Wordsmith2go offers content development services including but not limited to:

• Copywriting

• Editing and proofreading

• Messaging and positioning

• Creative content (e.g., articles, press releases, print material, scripts)

• Strategic communication and branding consultancy

• Social media copywriting and campaign messaging

1.2 All deliverables will be outlined in a mutually agreed project brief or written proposal prior to commencement.

2. Fees and Payment

2.1 Pricing is set out in our quotation or proposal and may be based on hourly rates, per-project fees, or retainers.

2.2 A 50% upfront deposit is typically required before commencement of work unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2.3 Full payment is due upon final approval of the project. Approval is defined as written confirmation via email, digital sign-off, or absence of feedback within the agreed review period (see Section 3.2).

2.4 All fees are exclusive of VAT or applicable taxes, which will be added where required.

3. Revisions and Approval

3.1 We offer up to [two] rounds of revisions for each deliverable. Additional changes may incur further charges.

3.2 If no feedback is provided within [5 business days] of submission, the work will be considered approved and complete.

4. Intellectual Property

4.1 Upon full payment, you will own the rights to final approved deliverables.

4.2 Drafts, concepts, and unused materials remain the intellectual property of Wordsmith2go and may not be reused or published without our written consent.

4.3 We reserve the right to showcase completed work in our portfolio, unless a confidentiality agreement prevents this.

5. Confidentiality

5.1 Both parties agree to keep confidential all proprietary or sensitive information disclosed in the course of the engagement.

5.2 Confidential information may not be shared with third parties without prior written consent, unless required by law.

6. Client Responsibilities

6.1 You agree to provide all necessary information, approvals, and access in a timely manner to enable us to deliver on agreed timelines.

6.2 You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of all materials (e.g., facts, claims, brand guidelines) supplied to us.

7. Liability

7.1 We will exercise reasonable care and professional skill in delivering our services but make no guarantees regarding third-party outcomes such as media placement, SEO performance, or user engagement.

7.2 Wordsmith2go shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, including loss of profits, business interruption, or reputational damage arising from our work.

7.3 Total liability, if any, will be limited to the amount paid by you for the specific project or service in question.

8. Cancellations and Termination

8.1 Either party may terminate the agreement with written notice. You will be billed for any work completed up to the termination date.

8.2 No refunds will be issued for completed work or partially delivered milestones unless otherwise agreed.

8.3 Wordsmith2go may suspend or terminate services immediately for non-payment, breach of terms, or unethical conduct.

9. Use of Third-Party Services

9.1 We may recommend or incorporate third-party tools, software, or platforms as part of content execution. We do not control or guarantee these services.

9.2 You agree to the terms and conditions of any third-party service you choose to engage through our recommendation.

10. Force Majeure

10.1 We are not liable for any failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond our control, including natural disasters, acts of government, or internet outages.

11. Governing Law

11.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of the country in which Wordsmith2go accepted the project brief. Any disputes shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of the courts of that country.________________________________________

12. Amendments

12.1 We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
